Putting Dematic in the picture at the Archibald Prize

On a recent Friday night in March, Dematic hosted 120 guests and staff at the company’s inaugural Archibald Prize Cocktail Party. A great night was had by all in the spectacular Art Gallery of NSW setting. After cocktails and a welcome by CEO Steve Reeve, guests lingered over the spectacular portraits in the Archibald Prize. The winning portrait in this year’s Archibald Prize was a painting of artist Janet Laurence by John Beard.

Later, guests cast their vote for the Dematic People’s Choice Awards and surprisingly, the most popular “Dematic Choice” coincided with the general public’s “People Choice”, which was for Evert Ploeg’s portrait of conductor George Ellis.

Due to its success, Dematic plans to host the event again next year.
