Dematic adds to Windows® CE .NET-Based RF Terminals with New LXE MX3X

Dematic has released the newest addition to its family of LXE Windows CE .NET/Intel® X-Scale®-based rugged wireless computers - the MX3X.

The horizontal half-screen RF unit offers a unique easy in-out vehicle mounting system, allowing the MX3X to be used as both a hand-held and a vehicle-mounted mobile computer. This dual-function unit provides excellent flexibility in supply chain applications like order picking, where it can be used on a variety of materials handling equipment including pallet trucks, picking trolleys, forklifts and the like, or simply carried by hand.

" With the MX3X, customers can cover a broad range of applications with just one computer model. Pop it in the vehicle-mount cradle, and you’ve got a vehicle-mounted computer with tethered scanning support for pallet picking and put-away. Pop it out of the cradle, and you’ve got a hand-held computer with integrated scanning support for full or split-case order picking applications," said Dematic’s Manager Real Time Logistics, John Bot.
